The production capacity of the 1380 tray shed is between 1440kg and 1500kg (1.4 - 1.5 tonne) per day.

*    It is imperative that a water test be carried out to ascertain the quality of the water, important for plant growth and the efficient operation of the air conditioner.

*    The feed produced by the Charles Feed Shed is only one portion of a nutritionally balanced diet and should be used in combination with quality hay for maintenance of healthy animals and with hay and grain when used for fattening stock.

*    The general feed to weight ratio is approximately 1kg of green feed per 100kg of body weight per animal.
